چکیده

Objective: To formulate unmodified crystalline meloxicam solid dispersions by the use of surfactants and polymer. This polymeric particulate system is named as meloxicam-loaded surface attached dispersion (MSDs). Methodology: experimental study was conducted at Lab Physical Industrial Pharmacy, Hanyang University, South Korea. The duration this around seven months. first phase (optimization fabrication) completed within 3 months, while, solubility, dissolution physicochemical characterization in next 4 These surfaces were prepared using spray drying technology. Moreover, HPMC SLS used hydrophilic carriers. Various MSDs carriers/drug, evaluated for aqueous solubility studies. Results: Amongst different formulation prepared, MSDs3 having Meloxicam/HPMC/SLS a (1:0.5:0.5) gave highest (i.e. from 0.25 ±0.17ug/ml to 153 ±5.3ug/ml). enhanced 2.96 ±0.55% 47 ±1.07% 15 minutes. Furthermore, performed scanning electron microscopy (SEM), differential calorimetry (DSC) powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD). Conclusion: In conclusion we can predict better dispersion. Improving Dissolution of Meloxicam Using Solid Dispersions

Meloxicam is a poorly water soluble non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug and antipyretic agent. The aim of the present work was to investigate the effect of different types of carriers on in vitro dissolution of meloxicam. Meloxicam solid dispersions were prepared by physical mixing, co-grinding and solvent evaporation methods with polyethylene glycol (PEG) 6000. The effect of solubilization by...

Effects of Spray Drying and Spray Chilling on Ibuprofen Dissolution

The formulation of hydrophobic drugs for oral drug delivery is challenging due to poor solubility, poor dissolution and poor wetting of these drugs. Consequently, the aim of this study was to improve the dissolution of a model poorly water soluble drug, ibuprofen. Microparticles containing ibuprofen were produced by spray drying and spray chilling technology in the absence/presence of a ...

Preparation and Characterization of Celecoxib Dispersions in Soluplus®: Comparison of Spray Drying and Conventional Methods

The present study deals with characterization of dispersions of a poorly water-soluble drug, celecoxib (CLX) in polyvinyl caprolactame–polyvinyl acetate–polyethylene glycol graft copolymer (Soluplus® (SOL)) prepared by different techniques. Dispersions of CLX in SOL at different ratios (2:1, 1:1, 1:2, 1:4 and 1:6) were prepared by spray drying, conventional solvent evaporation and melting metho...
